Prediction rules P1.1
The rulebook for OmbraProp prediction evaluations and simulated funded accounts, version P1.1, effective 25 October 2026. The rules of an account you have bought never change, and old versions stay published.
Simulated accounts. No real money is traded. 18+. Not available in the US. Full risk disclosure.
How it works
You trade simulated event contracts priced from Polymarket's public order books; nothing is ever placed on a real market.
Details
You trade simulated binary event contracts. Each contract settles at $1 if the event happens and $0 if it does not, so prices run from 0c to 100c. Prices come from Polymarket's public order books. Every order is filled on our server against the order book at the moment you place it, and each fill is recorded with the prices it used, so the result can be checked later. No order reaches Polymarket and no real contract is bought.
OmbraProp is not affiliated with or endorsed by Polymarket.

2. Evaluation

You pass when, with no open positions, your balance reaches the profit target, you have traded at least 10 different markets, no single market supplied more than 35% of your profit, and you have not touched the max loss floor. There is no minimum number of days and no time limit.
- Max loss. The floor sits 5% below your highest end-of-day balance. It moves up, never down, and stops once it reaches your starting balance. Touching it fails the account.
- Reset. If your evaluation fails on the max loss, you can buy one reset for half the plan's fee. See Resets.
- Daily loss. If your equity falls 2.5% of the starting balance below where it opened the UTC day, the account is paused for the rest of that day. It is a pause, never a fail.
- Consistency. No single market may supply more than 35% of your profit when you pass, and in each payout cycle once funded.
- Different markets. At least 10 different markets traded before you can pass.
Resets
One reset per evaluation, for half the plan's fee, after a fail on the max loss.
Details
One reset per evaluation, for half the plan's fee, offered on your accounts page after the evaluation fails on the max loss.
- What you get. A fresh simulated evaluation on the same plan, under the same rulebook version as the account that failed, with a new starting balance and no time limit. Your trading days, markets and profit start from zero.
- What closes. The failed account closes when you pay for the reset. Its record stays on your accounts page.
- When it is not offered. After a pass. On a funded account. After a breach of the conduct rules or while a review is open on your account. After a refund or a payment dispute on the order that bought the evaluation.
- Once only. A reset cannot itself be reset. After that, the next step is a new evaluation at the full fee.
- Paying. The same ways to pay and the same checks as a new evaluation. Promo codes do not apply. The new account is created as soon as the reset fee is confirmed, and the reset fee is not refundable from then, except as set out in the refund policy.
3. Markets and orders
No sports markets, new positions only above 5c and below 90c, and never a fill against prices more than 30 seconds old.
Details
- No sports. Sports markets are never available. Markets on sensitive topics are refused.
- Price band. New positions only above 5c and below 90c. You can close a position at any price.
- Near the close. No new exposure in the 15 minutes before a market closes, or in a market that settles within 24 hours.
- Fresh prices. An order is never filled against prices more than 30 seconds old. If the price got worse than the one you saw, the order is refused and you are shown the new price.
- Limit orders. Any part a fresh order book already reaches fills at once; the rest rests and fills at your limit, without a fee, only when a fresh order book reaches it. Every rule is checked again at the fill.
- Quick flips. A position opened and closed within 30 seconds is a warning. Two warnings flag the account for review.
4. Fees
Simulated trading fees follow Polymarket's published taker rates for each market category.
Details
Simulated trading fees use Polymarket's published taker rates for each market's category, charged when your order takes liquidity. Geopolitics markets have no fee. A resting limit order that fills at your limit pays no fee.
5. Simulated funded account
If you pass, you can move to a simulated funded account of the same size after an identity check, with no activation fee.
Details
If you pass, you can move to a simulated funded account at the same size, with no activation fee, after an identity check and signing the funded account agreement. It has the same max loss, daily loss and market rules, and no profit target.
6. Payouts
Payouts run on a 7-day cycle with 5 qualifying days, at 80% then 90% of profit. How to request one is on Payouts.
Details
| 10K | 25K | 50K | 100K | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Payout cycle | 7 days, with 5 qualifying days ($100+ profit each) | 7 days, with 5 qualifying days ($100+ profit each) | 7 days, with 5 qualifying days ($100+ profit each) | 7 days, with 5 qualifying days ($100+ profit each) |
| Profit split | 80% up to $2,000 of payouts, then 90% | 80% up to $2,000 of payouts, then 90% | 80% up to $2,000 of payouts, then 90% | 80% up to $2,000 of payouts, then 90% |
| Minimum payout | $100 | $100 | $100 | $100 |
- Payouts run on a 7-day cycle with 5 qualifying days, the first payout included. You can request once at least 7 days have passed since your last payout (or, for the first, since your first trading day on the funded account) and at least 5 of the trading days in that time were qualifying days. A day qualifies only with $100 or more of profit. See the payouts page.
- 80% of profit is yours until your payouts on the account reach $2,000 in total; after that, 90%.
- No market may supply more than 35% of the profit in the payout cycle.
- A working limit order must be cancelled or filled before you request a payout.
- Payouts are subject to per-request and monthly limits that are set in advance and shown in your dashboard before you request; if an approved amount is above a limit, the rest is paid in the next cycle. Every payout request is reviewed by a person before it is paid. The payouts page has the full process, the methods, the processing-time target and a log of every payout made.
7. Who can take part
You must be 18 or over, not a resident of the United States or its territories, and not in a sanctioned country.
Details
- You must be 18 or over, confirmed at sign-up.
- Not available to residents of the United States or its territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Minor Outlying Islands). We check the country you choose, your profile and the country of your connection.
- Not available in sanctioned countries, as for every OmbraProp plan.
8. Keeping it fair
Some trades are reviewed by a person rather than the software, for example trades around a data release or after an outcome was known.
Details
Some rules are applied by review rather than by the software: trades placed in the 60 minutes around a scheduled data release on the market's subject, trades placed after an outcome was publicly known, and trades during a stale price feed may be voided. The funded account agreement has the full wording.
Change log
P1.1 shortened the payout cycle; no other rule changed.
Details
- P1.1, wording only (25 October 2026). Payouts (6): monthly limit figures moved to the dashboard. No rule changed.
- P1.1 (25 October 2026). Payout cycle shortened: 7 days with 5 qualifying days, instead of 10 qualifying days with no cycle. Everything else unchanged. P1.0 stays published for accounts pinned to it; the change is only in the trader's favour and may be applied to them.
- P1.0 (24 October 2026). First version: 10 qualifying days ($100 or more of profit each) between payouts, the first included.
