Prediction evaluation terms P1.1

OmbraProp terms for simulated prediction market evaluations. Version 2026-10-25.p6 (pre-launch), for rulebook P1.1. Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Launching soon. These terms will apply to prediction evaluations bought once sales open.

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you buy an OmbraProp prediction evaluation. Please read them, the prediction risk disclosure and the privacy notice before you buy. The prediction rules (rulebook P1.1) are published before sales open and form part of these terms. If anything is unclear, email prop@ombratrading.com before you pay.

Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

OmbraProp is a service of Ombra Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17531482, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Your contract is with Ombra Trading Ltd.

Contact: prop@ombratrading.com.

2. What a prediction evaluation is

  1. A simulated evaluation. You buy access to a simulated account that trades event contracts (contracts that settle on the outcome of a real-world event). Prices come from Polymarket's public order books. You try to reach a profit target while keeping within the rules.
  2. Nothing is placed with Polymarket. Every order is filled by our own simulation. No order, position or contract is ever placed with Polymarket or any other exchange or venue, and no real contract is bought or sold. Polymarket has not endorsed, sponsored or approved OmbraProp; its name tells you only where a price came from.
  3. A simulated funded account. If you pass, you get a second simulated account (the "funded account"). It holds no real money. It is called funded because passing gives you access to it.
  4. Fees are not stakes or deposits. The fee is a fee for a service. It is not a stake, a bet, a deposit or an investment, it is not held for you, and it is not returned when you pass or fail, except as set out in section 6.
  5. Payouts are performance rewards. A payout is a reward we pay from our own money when your funded account meets the rules and these terms. It is not a share of real trading profit, winnings on a bet, a wage or a return on an investment.
  6. No investment or betting advice. We do not give investment, betting, financial, tax or legal advice, do not recommend trades or outcomes and do not manage money.
  7. Not regulated. OmbraProp is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or the Gambling Commission. Fees and payouts are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

3. Who can buy

To buy a prediction evaluation you must:

  1. be at least 18 years old;
  2. not live in the United States or its territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Minor Outlying Islands). We never sell to them, whatever your IP address, profile or declared country says;
  3. not live in, or be connected with, a country or region under UK, United Nations, European Union or United States sanctions that would stop us serving you, and not be a sanctioned person;
  4. be an individual buying for yourself, and hold only one OmbraProp customer account. One person, one account;
  5. not use a VPN, proxy or other tool to hide where you are;
  6. give us true information and keep it up to date.

We may refuse a sale, or refund and close an account, if any of these is not met. If we do so before you have placed a trade, we refund the fee under section 6.

4. Plans, fees and payment

Simulated balanceFee (one-time)
$10,000$79
$25,000$119
$50,000$199
$100,000$339
  1. The fee is one-time and covers one evaluation and, if you pass, one funded account of the same size. There is no subscription and no other fee to keep the account.
  2. Prices are in US dollars. You can pay in crypto through NOWPayments (which runs the payment page and works out how much of your chosen coin to send), by bank transfer, or with PayPal, where each is offered at checkout. We do not take card payments directly for prediction evaluations.
  3. Crypto. You pay the network fee charged by your own wallet or exchange to send the payment. We pay the NOWPayments fee. The amount that must arrive is the amount on the invoice. If you pay in the wrong coin or network, or after the invoice expires, NOWPayments' own process applies and we will help you through it. Crypto payments cannot be reversed by a bank or card dispute.
  4. Bank transfer. We show you our account details, a reference and the US dollar amount (with the approximate amount in pounds where our account is in pounds). Send the full amount with the reference. Your order is confirmed when the money arrives in our account and we have matched your reference, usually within one business day of it landing. An order not paid within 7 days expires; if the money arrives after that, email us and we will match it or return it. You bear your own bank's charges and any currency conversion: the amount that must arrive is the amount shown on the order.
  5. PayPal. You pay on PayPal's page and come straight back; your order is confirmed when PayPal confirms the payment. PayPal's own terms apply to your PayPal account.
  6. Your evaluation is made available only once the full amount has arrived and been matched to your order. If too little arrives and you do not pay the rest, we return what arrived under section 6.4. Please email us about any problem with a payment.
  7. We may change prices for new purchases at any time. A change never affects an evaluation you have already bought.
  8. Reset. If your evaluation ends by reaching the maximum loss, we offer one reset of that evaluation for half the plan's fee at the time (shown on your accounts page). A reset is a new simulated evaluation on the same plan, judged by the same rulebook version as the evaluation that ended, with a new starting balance. The evaluation that ended is closed when the reset is paid. We offer one reset per evaluation bought; a reset cannot be reset. We do not offer a reset after a pass, on a funded account, after prohibited conduct under section 8 or while a review under section 9.2 is open, or after a refund or payment dispute on the order that bought the evaluation. Promo codes and other offers do not apply to a reset. The reset fee is paid, confirmed and refunded in the same ways as the evaluation fee (sections 4 and 6).

5. The rules

  1. Rulebook P1.1 is part of these terms. The prediction rules (profit target, loss limits, position limits, allowed markets, price bands, the minimum number of markets and the payout conditions) are published as rulebook P1.1. If the rules and these terms conflict, these terms apply, unless the rule is more favourable to you.
  2. Your rules are fixed. Each account shows the rulebook version it was bought under. That version applies to the evaluation and its funded account for the life of both. We never change it to your disadvantage.
  3. New versions. We may publish a new rulebook for new purchases, at least 14 days before it applies, with a list of changes. A change only in your favour may be applied to existing accounts.
  4. Software enforcement. The rules are checked by our software against the prices it recorded. A daily loss pauses the account until the next UTC day; it is not a fail. Reaching the maximum loss ends the account.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1 Your 14-day right to cancel

As a consumer you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the day you buy, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For digital content, that right ends once supply starts, if you asked for it to start straight away and agreed that you would lose the right.

6.2 Your account is created straight away

Your evaluation account is digital content. We create it and make it available as soon as your payment is confirmed. At checkout we ask you to confirm the following, and you cannot buy without ticking the box:

I want my OmbraProp evaluation account created as soon as my payment is confirmed. Once it is created, I lose my right to cancel, and the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

We repeat this in your receipt email.

6.3 What this means in practice

  1. Before your account is created (for example while a bank transfer has not yet arrived): you may cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid. Email prop@ombratrading.com from the address you bought with.
  2. After your account is created: the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies, because you asked for the account straight away and agreed to lose it. The fee is not refunded, whether you trade or not, pass or fail.
  3. Refunds we always give: whatever the timing, we refund where our systems or price data were at fault (section 9.4), where we close OmbraProp or stop offering prediction evaluations before you could use yours, where we refuse or close your account before you trade (section 3), or where the law requires it.
  4. Resets: a reset is a new order and works the same way. The new evaluation account is created as soon as the reset fee is confirmed, and from then the reset fee is not refunded, except under "Refunds we always give" above.

6.4 How refunds are paid

A refund, where it is due under 6.3, goes back by the same method you paid with. We send it within 10 working days of your request (for crypto, of you confirming the address). No refund is due once your evaluation account has been created, except in the cases in 6.3.

  1. Crypto. The US dollar value you paid (the invoice price), minus the network fee for sending the refund; you pay that network fee and it is taken from the refund, except where the refund is due because we or our systems were at fault, when we pay it. We send it in the coin and on the network you paid with, to the sending address or another address you own or control that you give us by email from the address you bought with, after you confirm the address and network we repeat back to you. We convert at the rate on the day we send it, so the number of coins may differ from what you sent; changes in the coin's price are not refunded or charged to you. We cannot recover a refund sent to the address you confirmed.
  2. Bank transfer. The amount we received, returned to the bank account it was sent from. We cannot send it to a different account. Your bank may charge you to receive it or convert it; we do not refund those charges.
  3. PayPal. The amount you paid, returned to the PayPal account you paid with.
  4. Fees. You bear your own bank, PayPal or network fees for sending the payment and for receiving the refund. We take nothing else off.

7. Voided trades and data problems

  1. Known outcomes. We may void any trade placed after the outcome of a market was publicly known, even if the simulation had not yet marked it settled.
  2. Stale or wrong data. We may void a trade filled against a price that was stale (older than the limit in the rules), obviously wrong, or caused by a fault in a price source or our software. We may also pause a market until fresh prices arrive.
  3. When we void a trade, its profit or loss is removed and we tell you which trade and why. If a voided trade or a data fault caused a rule breach, section 9.4 applies.

8. Prohibited conduct

  1. More than one account. Holding more than one customer account, or accounts under someone else's identity.
  2. Account sharing. Letting anyone else log in to or trade your accounts.
  3. Inside knowledge. Trading on non-public knowledge of how a market will resolve, including knowledge from your job or a role in the event.
  4. Hedging and coordination. Holding opposite positions on the same or linked outcomes across accounts, yours or other people's, or acting with others so that one account is likely to win while another fails.
  5. Exploiting errors. Using a delay, stale price, data fault or software bug to make simulated profit.
  6. False information. Giving false identity, address or country details, or hiding where you are.
  7. Interfering with the service. Attacking, overloading or scraping our systems.

Flipping (warnings, not a breach). A position opened and closed within 30 seconds is a flip and earns a warning. Two warnings send the account to review by a person before any payout.

9. Breaches and ending accounts

  1. Rule breach. Reaching the maximum loss ends the account automatically. This is a fail, not a penalty, and the fee is not refunded (except under 9.4). After a maximum-loss fail you may buy one reset under 4.8.
  2. Prohibited conduct. If we have evidence of conduct in section 8, we may hold payouts while a person reviews it, then end the affected accounts and refuse payouts that come from the trades involved. We send you the evidence.
  3. Appeal. You may appeal within 14 days of receiving the evidence by email. A person reviews it and we answer within 5 business days.
  4. Our fault. If our systems or price data were at fault when a breach happened, the account is reinstated or, if that is not possible, the fee is refunded in full.
  5. Eligibility. If you stop meeting section 3 (for example you move to the United States), we may end your accounts. Where the law allows, approved payouts are paid and an evaluation with no trades is refunded under 6.4.

10. Identity checks

  1. You must pass our identity check (know your customer) before your first payout. It may include an identity document, a liveness check, proof of address and sanctions screening. We may repeat sanctions screening before any payout.
  2. Payouts go only to an account or wallet in the same name as your identity check.
  3. If you fail the check, or do not complete it within 30 days of being asked, we cannot pay you.

11. Payouts

  1. Conditions. Payout conditions are set out in rulebook P1.1. In short: a minimum payout of $100; a 7-day cycle with 5 qualifying days, the first payout too, where you may request once at least 7 days have passed since your last payout (or, for the first, since your first trading day on the funded account) and at least 5 of the trading days in that time were qualifying days, a day qualifying only if your account made at least $100 profit that day; and no single market may supply more than 35% of the cycle's profit.
  2. Split. You receive 80% of each eligible amount until your payouts on the funded account reach $2,000 in total, and 90% after that.
  3. Limits and review. Payouts are subject to per-request and monthly limits that are set in advance and shown in your dashboard before you request. A person reviews every payout request before it is paid; no payout is approved by software alone. If an approved payout is above a limit, the rest stays approved and is paid in the next cycle, in the order the requests were made.
  4. Timing. Our target is to review a request within 2 business days and to pay an approved payout within 5 business days of approval. A request under review for a reason in sections 7 to 9, or waiting for you to confirm where to send it, can take longer; we tell you why. Every payout made is listed, with the days it took, on the payouts page.
  5. Method. Payouts are paid in US dollars or stablecoin to an account or wallet in your own name, after the identity check in section 10.
  6. Tax. You are responsible for any tax on payouts you receive and for reporting them where you live.

12. Our responsibility to you

  1. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, as described in these terms and the rules.
  2. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for losses on any real account at any exchange or venue, including Polymarket, for losses caused by your own equipment or software, or for events outside our reasonable control.
  3. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event, plus any payout we have approved and not yet paid, plus any refund owed under these terms.
  4. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Changes, complaints and law

  1. We may change these terms for new purchases, publishing the new version at least 14 days before it applies. A change never applies to an account you have already paid for to your disadvantage.
  2. Complaints: email prop@ombratrading.com with "Complaint" in the subject. We acknowledge within 2 business days and give a full answer within 14 days.
  3. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection your local consumer law gives you.
