Refunds R1.2

Whenever it happens, we refund the fee for an account in full if:

1. Platform fault. The trading platform or our systems were at fault when a breach happened (for example stale data, an outage or a liquidation error) and we cannot reinstate the account.
2. We cannot keep your rules. The law, a sanction or the platform forces a change to your account's rules and you choose to close the account.
3. We close OmbraProp. Evaluations not yet passed are refunded, whether or not you have traded on them. Funded accounts get a final payout instead, as set out in section 14 of the terms.
4. A long pause. OmbraProp pauses and trading is stopped for more than 30 days in a row, and you choose to close an evaluation not yet passed.
5. We refuse or close your account before you trade, for example because you are not eligible or you could not complete the identity check.
6. The law requires it.

A refund goes back by the same method you paid with, within 10 working days of your request (for crypto, of you confirming the address). No refund is due once you have placed a trade, except in the cases above.

Card payments. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Bank transfer. We return the amount we received to the bank account it was sent from; we cannot send it to a different account. Your order is confirmed only when the money has arrived and we have matched your reference, and an order not paid within 7 days expires. Your own bank's charges and any currency conversion are yours: the amount that must arrive is the amount shown on the order, and we do not refund your bank's fees.

PayPal. We return the amount you paid to the PayPal account you paid with.

Crypto payments. Refunds are paid in crypto, as set out in the next section.

You can pay for an evaluation in crypto through NOWPayments, our crypto payment provider. We accept USDT, USDC, BTC and ETH. The price is set in US dollars. The NOWPayments invoice shows how much of your chosen coin to send, and on which network. We pay the network fee and the NOWPayments fee on your payment, so you do not pay either of them on top of the price. Your right to cancel and the refunds we always give are exactly the same as for a card payment. Only the way a refund is paid is different.

How a crypto refund is paid

1. Amount. We refund the US dollar price you paid, in full. We pay the network fee for sending the refund and take nothing off.
2. Coin. We send the refund in the same coin, on the same network, that you paid with. If you ask us to, we send it in USDT or USDC instead.
3. Rate. We work out how much of the coin to send using the exchange rate on the day we send the refund. Crypto prices move, so you may get back more or fewer coins than you sent. A stablecoin (USDT or USDC) is designed to track the US dollar, but may not be worth exactly one US dollar.
4. Your wallet address. When you ask for a refund, email us from the address you bought with and give us a wallet address for the coin and network you want. We repeat the address and network back to you and send the refund once you confirm them. You are responsible for giving us a correct address. Please check it carefully: a crypto payment cannot be reversed, and we cannot recover a refund sent to the address you confirmed.
5. Only to you. We send a refund only to a wallet that you own or control. We do not send a refund to anyone else.
6. Timing. We send the refund within 10 working days of you confirming the address. The network may take a little longer to confirm it.

When a crypto payment goes wrong

• You paid too little. Your evaluation does not start until the full amount on the invoice has arrived. The NOWPayments invoice shows what is still due. If you do not pay the rest, we return what arrived, in the same coin, to a wallet address you give us, as set out above.
• Wrong coin, wrong network or an expired invoice. If you send a coin the invoice did not ask for, use a different network, or pay after the invoice has expired, the payment may be delayed or may not reach us. NOWPayments' own process decides whether it can be matched or recovered, and we will help you through it. We cannot promise that it can be recovered. Your evaluation starts only once the full payment has been matched to your order.

Please email us before raising a card or PayPal dispute. We usually refund faster. While a chargeback or dispute is open, the accounts bought with that fee may be paused.

Crypto payments cannot be disputed or reversed through a bank. If something is wrong with a crypto payment, email us and we will deal with it under this policy.

• An evaluation you have traded on and then passed, failed or stopped using, unless one of the cases above applies.
• Your own bank, PayPal or network fees for sending the payment or receiving the refund, including your bank's currency conversion charges on a bank transfer.
• For crypto payments: fees your own wallet or exchange charges you to send the payment or to receive the refund.

• You buy on the 1st and decide on the 10th not to use it, with no trade placed: full refund.
• You buy on the 1st and decide on the 20th, with no trade placed: the 14 days have passed, so no refund unless one of the cases above applies.
• You place one trade, then change your mind: no refund, because the right to cancel ended with your first trade.
• An outage at the platform closes your positions and breaks the max loss, and the account cannot be reinstated: full refund (platform fault).
• You pay $129 in BTC, then cancel on the 5th with no trade placed and ask for USDC: we send $129 in USDC, at the rate on the day we send it, and pay the network fee.
